City of Wroclaw

Wroclaw is the capital of Lower Silesia, and with 639 258 residents it is the fourth largest city in Poland. The rapid development of the city has been assisted by its close proximity to Germany and the Czech Republic.

Dubbed the Venice of Poland, the city draws a growing number of tourists each year (over 5 million per year) with its wide range of tourist attractions and cultural events. No wonder it was recognised as the European Capital of Culture in 2016 and the European Best Destination in 2018. Wrocław is a dynamic business hub with great potential, welcoming waves of foreign investment each year. Many international companies in logistics, finance and IT already operate out of the city, including Amazon, LG, Nokia Siemens, Google, HP, IBM, Capgemini, Atos, UBS Credit Suisse, Ryanair and Volvo. Wroclaw is also a student-friendly city with over 120 000 students attending the city’s 13 universities and colleges.
